After a long, stressful few weeks, I finally have a chance to exhale a little bit. There's still lots of work to be done in the house, but it's coming together now. Playlist time:
Jamestown (PC): The best shoot-em-up starring a laser-flinging Sir Walter Raleigh against the combined forces of Spain and Mars I've ever played.
Bit.Trip Runner (PC): Something about this game wormed its way into my head. I think it's the combination of the great music plus the trippy visuals plus the platforming aspect just makes me happy.
Mario Kart 7 (3DS): Some of the best multiplayer in a Mario Kart game I've ever seen. Sure, there's rubber-band AI in single-player, but that's gone when you're in multiplayer. Nintendo answered almost every complaint people had about online multiplayer in this game. It's great.
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island (3DS): I still love this game.
